Dec 05, 2022

New York City, NY – Marcum LLP presented $60,000 to the beneficiaries of the 2022 Marcum Workplace Challenge, an annual run-walk for charity that has raised more than $1 million for Long Island nonprofit organizations.

Employees from companies across Long Island, and their families and friends, participate in the 3.5-mile run-walk and corporate picnic at Jones Beach. The event is produced by Marcum, Long Island’s largest accounting firm, in collaboration with the Greater Long Island Running Club (GLIRC).  This year marked the in-person return of this landmark Long Island fundraiser after a 2-year COVID hiatus.

Beneficiary organizations included the Children’s Medical Fund of New York, Long Island Cares—The Harry Chapin Food Bank, Long Island Children’s Museum, and the Nassau County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
