At this year’s Marcum Workplace Challenge, we are happy to welcome Jonathan Wibben, who will sing the national anthem before the race. Jonathan is the Official National Anthem Singer of the New York Islanders and sings for the New York Mets as well.
About Jonathan:
Jonathan Wibben is a Musician and Music Teacher from Kings Park, New York. He is a Full-Time Music Teacher in the Bethpage School District, where he is now currently in his twelfth year of teaching. In addition, Jonathan is also a professional musician. He performs at venues all over Long Island and New York City and is currently the Official National Anthem Singer of the New York Islanders. Jonathan performs the U.S. and Canadian National Anthems at NY Islanders home game at UBS Arena. Jonathan has also performed National Anthems at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Webster Bank Arena in Connecticut, as well as Nassau Coliseum and Bethpage Ballpark here on Long Island.
Recently Jonathan also performed the National Anthem for the New York Mets at a Spring Training game down in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and will be performing the National Anthem at Citi Field for a New York Mets game this coming summer. When Jonathan isn’t teaching or performing, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing beach volleyball with his friends, and volunteering at his church as a Worship Leader
